The three flavours include a traditional Austrian beef goulash, roasted butternut and sage and a French onion soup.
My colleague and I had the trio and paired them with wines.

The soups are made using an old family recipe by the proprietor’s mother and are served with fresh, crispy bread.
The hearty smell was irresistible and filled the air around us almost immediately as the waiter placed the soups on the table.
The goulash is traditionally an Austrian meat and potato soup with paprika as the main ingredient.
It’s a rich dish, but is perfectly balanced when paired with the flagship Constantia Glen 5 red.
The fruity characteristics of the wine and the richness of the soup leave a slight sweet taste on the palate. My colleague and I enjoyed this one the most.
The butternut soup is a South African favourite with a twist.This vegetarian option is made with coconut milk and a touch of Gorgonzola cheese. I is paired with the Glen 3, another great combination.
French onion soup
The French onion soup is made with a touch of Bovril to give it a meaty flavour. This is also a rich dish and is paired with the Glen 2, which cuts through the richness to leave a balanced flavour on the palate. Guests can add a platter of artisanal cheese and charcuterie as they enjoy a laid-back afternoon of soup and wine.
The soups are R95 per single serving or R100 for the trio and wines are from R70 a glass.
